Ideomotor Apraxia
Ideomotor apraxia is a neurological condition that leaves its victims unable to execute formerly mastered physical skills (like waving or hair combing) and problems imitating the physical movements of others. This is caused, as in a stroke, when a lesion of the brain (primarily the left parietal lobe and the premotor cortex); causes the portion of that organ to be starved of oxygen.
