Ictal

Ictal is a medical term which is used to relate to a seizure. Pre-ictal is the state before the seizure while post-ictal refers to the state after it. Interictal is the state between seizures. For instance, ictal speech refers to the grunting sounds during the onset of some patients’ seizures.
