Tinnutus
Tinnitus is a hearing disorder that is estimated to affect over 50 million people. Symptoms of this disorder can include a variety of sounds: Ringing, whistling and buzzing are the most common. In rare instances, an individual may experience pulsing in the ear. Tinnitus can cause sleep disorders, as well as problems with focusing on daily activities.
Tinnitus can be caused by a number of factors, such as Long periods of loud noise exposure, head (or neck) injuries, and ototoxic (poisonous to the ear) medications. Unfortunately, there are no cures for tinnitus at this time.
