Testis

The testes (singular testis) or testicles are the pair of oval-shaped organs, about the size of a large grape, which produce sperm. They also secrete testosterone which are vital in masculine development and maintenance of libido. They are situated within the scrotum which is behind the penis. This external location is ideal in having a cool temperature for healthy sperm production.
