Sir Francis Dalton
Sir Francis Dalton (1822-1911) was a British scholar and polymath who became quite accomplished in many and varied realms of study. Although officially considered as an anthropologist, he traveled widely and was an inveterate student. One of the things for which he is best known is the creation and distribution of Galton's questionary, a survey that was distributed to 200 well-known scientists in Britain. This is believed to be the first survey of this type ever distributed.
