Relative Clarity

Relative clarity also known as the aerial perspective determines depth by noting that distant objects are less precise than nearby objects. This perceives hazy things as farther away and objects that appear sharp, clear, and detailed are seen as closer than more hazy objects. For example, a bird flying high above us appears hazy, blurry, and less clear, and we cannot view precise details about it the way we could if it was right in front of us.
