Rejectivity

Rejectivity is a term associated with Erickson's Psychosocial Stages of Development, (hyperlink?) specifically stage 7 which is Generativity vs Stagnation. This stage occurs between ages 25-64. If a person of this age group fails to experience a sense of generativity (growing and building a sense of productivity) they will develop a sense of "stagnation" that results in self-absorption and little connection to others. This results in rejectivity and an inability to feel any sense of meaning. This can also be called an unresolved mid-life crisis.
