Policy Practice

Policy Practice refers to the design and evaluation of social service policies and programs, for example, how to meet the needs of a city’s homeless population or how to reduce youth violence. Policy practice involves gathering accurate information, delivering recommendations, and securing funds and other resources for the desired programs. It also includes promoting the rights and wellbeing of minorities, low-income workers, and other disadvantaged groups.
