Person Perception

Person perception, or social perception, is the scientific study of how people form impressions and make inferences about other people. The four main components of social perception are observation, attribution, integration, and confirmation. Some of the things that influence perception are facial expressions, tone of voice, hand gestures, and body position or movement.
