Paranoid Schizophrenia
Paranoid schizophrenia is the most common type of schizophrenia. Clinically, paranoid schizophrenia is characterized by relatively stable persecutory delusions that are accompanied by auditory hallucinations and perceptual disturbances. These lead to the patients feeling as though they are being watched and targeted by powerful forces (CIA. FBI, etc.), hearing voices that give them negative messages, and other perception problems. This form of schizophrenia has no cure but the symptoms can generally be managed through medications.
