Orbison Illusion

The Orbison illusion is an optical illusion which shows a distorted line or shape, such as a square or a circle, having a background of concentric circles or radial lines.

For instance, a square appears to be a bit bulged, a rectangle may seem tilted, and a circle may be perceived as oval. This was first described by William Orbison, an American psychologist.
