Nyakwana
Nyakwana, also termed as parica, epena, and yakee, is a hallucinogen snuff made from the bark of Virola trees which are native to South America. The scraped bark is then boiled and a blood-red resin is extracted, dried, ground, and mixed with wood ash. The effects include initial excitability, numbness of limbs, visual hallucinations, nausea, twitching of facial muscles, and a deep and disturbed sleep.
