Nontraditional Marriages

Nontraditional marriages deviate from the society’s conventional patterns of marriage. For instance, same sex marriage is generally considered as taboo in certain countries. Other examples include being married to more than one person (in Christian countries) and a marriage which allows having sexual relations with other partners (see open marriage).
