Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test (NNAT)
The Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test (NNAT) measures K-12 students’ cognitive ability independent of culture and language skills. This is also used in identifying potentially gifted children for accelerated program placement. The NNAT uses shapes, geometric figures, and symbols to measure serial reasoning, spatial visualization, reasoning by analogy, and pattern completion skills. This was created by Jack A. Naglieri, an American school psychologist and research professor, and was first published by Pearson in 2004.
