Muscle Memory
Muscle memory refers to the body's ability to learn and reproduce actions so that repetitive actions require only a minimal amount of concentration. This is the ability that allows people to use typewriters, play musical instruments, dance, do gymnastics, ride bicycles, etc. Once the mind is freed from having to concentrate on discrete physical actions such as how to balance on a bicycle or where to find certain letter keys on a typewriter a person becomes free to work on speed and accuracy for the task.
