Multiculturalism

Multiculturalism refers to the co-existence of multiple cultures in close proximity to one another. It usually refers to the demographic makeup of neighborhoods, businesses, schools, cities and even nations. This phenomenon is most clearly seen in the ethnic sections of large cities where immigrants and insular ethnic communities congregate.
