Moron

Moron basically refers to a stupid person. It was previously used in psychiatry and psychology to refer to mild intellectual disability; those with an IQ of 51 to 70. It is now used as an insult together with idiot and imbecile. Moron came from the Greek word “moros” which means “dull”. It was coined by Henry H. Goddard, an American psychologist, in 1910.
