Maturational Lag

Maturational lag is the developmental delay of several neural system aspects. For instance, it is hypothesized that children with ADHD have a lag regarding some of their brain parts’ development. The slowness of this progress may be manifested as significant inattention, speech delay, gross motor skill concerns, etc.
