Lead-Pipe Rigidity

"Lead-pipe" rigidity refers to the a neurological phenomenon of an involuntary stiffening (rigidity) of muscles that remains the same even while being passively manipulated. It is the result of damage to the basal ganglia. This is associated with many neurological conditions, particularly Parkinson's disease.
