Lacrimal Bone

The lacrimal bone is delicate, scale-like, and small; it is estimated to be the size of a little fingernail. In fact, it is one of the skull’s thinnest and smallest bones. It is found at the orbit’s medial wall and it forms the canal where tears flow. The pair of lacrimal bones also function as support structures for the eyes.
