Karma

Karma is an ancient Asian belief, associated with Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism, Sikhism and Taoism, that a person's deeds during their lifetime affect their status in their coming incarnations. Basically, it is a belief that if a person lives a good life and builds up good karma their status in their next life will reflect that good karma. Likewise, is a person builds up bad karma through a bad life, they will experience a lower status in their next life. See Taoism.
