James R. Flynn

James R. Flynn documented, and promoted knowledge of, what was later referred to as the "Flynn Effect," a consistent measured increase in the tested IQ scores of subjects in many different locations in the world. This is attributed to many factors; an increased refinement of the tests, changes in educational methods, and a greater understanding of testing procedures by the subjects.
