Innate

Innate refers to traits that are inborn rather than acquired or learned. Innate behaviors occur naturally and automatically. These are traits, such as smiling and laughing, that appear as part of the milestones of development in infants rather than being learned by example. Evidence of this is that smiling and laughing occur naturally in blind and deaf children who can't see or hear others.
