Index Of Validity

Index of validity is a number or magnitude which shows the level of a test’s ability to measure what it intends to measure. For instance, it is proposed that content validity should at least have an index of .78. Hence, an assessment tool with a .80 content validity index means that it satisfactorily measures the factors which it claims to look into.
