Indeterminacy
Indeterminacy is generally the quality of being vague. In psychology, this refers to the uncertainty in analyzing and predicting behavior due to the dynamics of mental processes, personality, experience, and other elements crucial in influencing human behavior.
For instance, theories and situational studies are often used in psychological explanations; however, such findings and concepts are not always applicable to every individual. In philosophy, indeterminacy specifically refers to mathematical and scientific concepts of uncertainty as well as the multiplicity of interpretations of several definitions. This is also used in other fields such as literature, law, and music. Generally, indeterminacy is the quality of being vague.
