The term idiocentric is used to describe a person who is mainly self-oriented, meaning that their personality attributes predispose them to prioritize the satisfaction of their own needs and motivations over the collective goals. Idiocentric individuals usually see themselves as independent from the group, which makes them prone to be self-reliant, focused on individual achievement, and less prone to follow social norms and costumes.
