Hyalophagia (aka, Hyalophagy)

Hyalophagia (or hyalophagy) is a mental disorder characterized by eating of glass.In the DSM 5, this is categorized under eating disorders as a form of pica. This is dangerous as the pieces of glass may harm the digestive system. Some of the causes may be an underlying mental illness, vitamin deficiency, or stress.
