Humanism
The term Humanism refers to a collection of philosophies and ethical perspectives that places emphasis on value of human life, experience and how humans may act in the world. The term itself and its meanings are ambiguous and have been used in conjunction with a great many intellectual movements, but currently is used in reference to empiricism, and rationalism over faith or established doctrine, and places emphasis on matters that pertain to the human condition that can be studied, proved and changed if necessary.
