Group Dynamics
Group Dynamics is the study of how people behave in groups and how different groups interact with each other. These group processes include membership, communication, influence, leadership, conflict, and teamwork, as well as how groups change over time (how they develop and dissolve) and how individuals change within a group.
Think about all the social and professional circles that you belong to. For each one, how was the group formed? how does your sense of belonging to that group affect your personal identity? how are decisions made and carried out within the group? An understanding of group dynamics is crucial for understanding individuals and how we relate to each other.
