Grandiosity
Grandiosity is having an unrealistic perception of superiority in various aspects such as power, ability, relationship, fame, and status. This is often associated with mental disorders such as narcissistic personality disorder, bipolar disorder, and delusional disorder.
For instance, in narcissism, some of the ways in which grandiosity is manifested are demands of entitlement, consistent anger during unmet expectations, criticism of others who threaten one’s self-esteem, exaggeration of abilities, and claiming others’ credit.
