Gonadopause

Gonadopause pertains to menopause or andropause which signal a significant decrease in sex hormones.

For women, this is mainly characterized by the inability to bear children as menstruation periods cease. For men, this is characterized by low levels of testosterone. Both men and women often experience hot flushes, decrease in sexual desire and satisfaction, irritability, anxiety, fatigue, and depression.
