Glans Penis

Glans penis is a Latin word for “acorn” as it is the rounded head (which looks like an acorn) at the tip of the penis. At birth, it is attached to the foreskin which will slowly separate over time. For children who underwent circumcision, the glans is already exposed as most of the foreskin has been removed.
