Gessellshaft

Gessellshaft is the second part of the the social equation "Gemeinshaft and Gesellshaft" (community and society) that describes an individual's interaction with the world. First put forward as a concept by German philosopher Ferdinand Tonessen this equation describes an individual's two chief realms of interaction outside of themselves and their immediate family.
