Equivalent Forms Reliability
Equivalent forms reliability is a term used in psychometrics (the measurement of intelligence, skills, aptitudes, etc.) to determine whether or not two or more forms of tests that are designed to measure some aspect of mentality are truly equivalent to one another. This can be examined by having groups of subjects take the two forms of the test to see if they do equally well on both. If they do, the two forms are said to have equivalent forms reliability.
