Egotheism

Egotheism came from the Latin word, “ego”, which means “I” and the Greek word, “theos” which means “god”. It is the deification of oneself; hence, it denies faith and divine revelation. For instance, an egotheist believes that he is his own god and the notion of a “God” is merely a conception of the self.
