Dysarthria

Dysarthria is a motor-speech disorder that results from neurological injury to the motor cortex of the brain. This type of injury creates a muscular inability to properly articulate phonemes (segmented sounds that create words). Dysarthria, as a physical problem is articulating language, is unrelated to aphasia or other neurological speech disorders.
