Deja Vecu

Deja vecu is a French term that means "having previously experienced an event," even if it isn't true. It is a different experience from the more commonly, and frequently imprecisely, used term deja vu which means "to have already seen" a place or event. This can be the experience of going someplace that has some similarity to a place already known and feeling that an event is being repeated.
