Date Rape

Date Rape is unwanted sexual intercourse forced upon the victim by a date or acquaintance. Despite common belief, both males and females can be the victim of date rape.

Let’s say two friends agree to spend time together - either on a date or just “hanging out”; if one friend coerces the other into having sex, or weakens their resistance to sexual advances with drugs or alcohol, they are committing date rape.
