Cranium

The cranium is the anatomical term for the skull. In the past, phrenology was the practice of relating the size of the cranium to a person's mental faculties. Now debunked, it has been determined that a large brain (and subsequently a large head) is not indicative of high intelligence; there is no relationship between the two.
