Barognosis

Barognosis, which is also known as baresthesia, is the ability to estimate objects’ weights by merely lifting or holding them. This tactile sense is tested by identifying whether objects being placed on each hand become heavier or lighter. Individuals who do not have intact barognosis need further tests to verify neurological concerns.
