Azathioprine

Azathioprine is the generic name for Imuran, a drug that suppresses immune function. It is prescribed to people with certain autoimmune disorders including Rheumatoid Arthritis and Chrohn's Disease, or can be given to organ transplant recipients to prevent rejection of the organ received.
