Autoregression

Autoregression is a situation in which a time series data of a certain period shows causal relationship with a previous data. This technique is commonly used to forecast and analyze economics, nature, and other processes. For instance, the future number of enrollees in a university is predicted by the weighted sum of the past years’ number of enrollees. Also see See Family Constellations.
