Aortic stenosis is a condition where there is narrowing of the aortic artery caused by plaque build-up. This inhibits the flow of oxygen-rich blood from the lungs through the heart and into the body. Symptoms of aortic stenosis are; chest pain, tiredness after exertion, shortness of breath after any exertion, heart palpitations and/or a heart murmur.
