Adjuvant Therapy

Adjuvant therapy is the additional treatment to the primary or initial treatment. “Adjuvans” is a Latin word which means “to help reach a goal”. For instance, a patient who has just gone through surgery is undergoing physical therapy (adjuvant treatment) for full recovery.
