"Acoustics as emotions" refers to the relationship between tones (voice or musical) and human emotions. If you think about it you know that a person's voice when happy or excited is different than when the mood is serious. Have you ever called a friend at work and not recognized them when they are using their professional "phone voice," rather than their normal voice?
