Acetyl
Acetyl is the umbrella term that covers a large group of organic compounds including the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, acetyl-CoA, acetylcysteine, and the analgesics (hyperlink?) acetaminophen (also known by its trade name of Tylenol) and acetylsalicylic acid (better known as aspirin). These compounds are generally used for fever reduction and pain relief. Aspirin (in small daily doses) has also proved itself efficacious in preventing heart attacks.
