As an Undergraduate Psychology student you have already learned firsthand how complex and demanding getting accepted into a graduate level program of your choice can be.

Before I continue, let me begin by congratulating you on your success so far. To be at a point where you are ready to strive for mastery in your chosen field demonstrates a level of mental fortitude and determination worthy of admiration.

With that I say to you: Kudos for your achievement!

But, of course, the real challenge is just beginning.

The path of your academic career is about to become more rigorous, selective and demanding than ever before.

There’s a good reason why the holder of a Ph.D. commands a great deal of respect and why less than 1% of the population ever get it.

Yes, earning the right to bear the title “Doctor” requires extensive study, intense intellectual effort and a considerable amount of personal contribution.

But make no mistake; the process of earning your Ph.D. begins long before you are formally accepted into a graduate program…

Do you want the greatest opportunity to be accepted into the highest quality graduate programs?

Then you must be deliberate in your approach from the outset.

If you’re already well into your undergraduate degree know that NOW is the time to start taking action towards your academic future!

Let me share my own experience with you.

When I began my undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland I immediately set about paving the groundwork for graduate studies. I set my sights high – a Social Psychology Ph.D. program studying with one of the leading Social Psychologists in the U.S.

With the groundwork set and plenty of time to plan and prepare, I was eventually able to transition from student to academic exactly as I intended.

It was this early action that provided me the platform to get to where I am today.

I witnessed other students who had been actively preparing since the beginning of their undergraduate studies also succeed…while those who left it until the last minute struggled and suffered utter disappointment.

Yet with early guidance they could have avoided their disappointment.

Once face to face with my own students I knew how essential it was that they too should have exactly what they needed early on to succeed.

To my satisfaction, not only did my face-to-face guidance help them…

…it enabled them to successfully gain acceptance into the exact Psychology graduate program they had been aiming at!

But here’s the thing.

I could only help a handful of students face-to-face.

I needed a solution that would extend the reach of my strategies to ensure students everywhere could benefit from my methods too.

The solution was simple.
